About The Artist
My name is Alan Pooley, I
have been taking pictures since I was a young boy and have always enjoyed the
process from camera through developing to printing. The advent of digital has
allowed me to use my other hobby, computers, more extensively. As I particularly
like landscapes this allows me to indulge in yet another pastime - travel. There
are only two things lacking now, the money and the time but I am working on
them.
Recently I have started taking pictures of flowers, thanks to a book and some
articles by Sue Bishop and the work of American artist Georgia O'Keffe. This may
help with the money shortfall but time is still in short supply.
